I’m Alegria and I’m a freelance feature and blog writer. Before working for myself, I sat at corporate desks as an Online Editor and Content Manager. I even tried my hand as a Digital Marketer before I realised that SEO killed my creative soul.

I write about travel, sustainable living, nature, and wellness. I also profile interesting people for established publications and brand blogs.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology from the University of Sydney because I really did want to be a Marine Biologist. Four years and a HECS-debt later, I realised that what I wanted to do was write and here I am! I’m still passionate about the natural world and how humans connect to it. I’m also wildly keen on inspiring people to get curious through my science project, Laylady Journal.
